More Information

History:

The Truckee Hostel building was first constructed in the 1880's. It was one of 3 hotels in the Truckee area. In the early 1920's it burned down and was rebuilt on the same foundation footprint in the late 1920's. Since then, it has had a few small additions to the main structure. It was a brothel at one time and has always served as some form of lodging. Now the hostel is the REDLIGHT.
